30-Minute Advising Appointment

ECS' career advisors are available to help with your job search needs.

If you would like to schedule a 30-minute advising appointment and you are registered with ECS, please click the link below. Appointments are scheduled via Handshake. Please be sure to double check if your appointment is in-person or virtual.

If you are unable to find an appointment that works with your schedule, please check for available appointments for the following week. Please know that we can usually schedule about one week out, but during peak times (such as those around career fairs) it may be longer.

Do you have a quick question? Consider using our Ask ECS feature and receive a response from an ECS Advisor within 3 business days.

For additional opportunities to refine your job search, check out our Recruiter in Residence program and our Workshops.

Please be on time for a scheduled appointment. ECS Advisors often have back to back meetings and being late negatively impacts their schedules as well as other students. Virtually "arriving" late will reduce the amount of time you have with an ECS Advisor, and if you are 15 minutes late or later you will forfeit your appointment.  It will be recorded as a missed appointment and you will need to reschedule. (Note that missing multiple appointments can negatively impact your ability to meet with ECS Advisors.)

Appointment scheduling is temporarily disabled while we transition to a new scheduling system using Handshake. Please check back on Wednesday, 7/28 to schedule an appointment.

NOTE: In order to accommodate as many students as possible, appointments are limited to ONE per student at any given time. Once you have completed your appointment, if you need to schedule another one, you may do so at that time.

Please note that if you require any accommodations such as live captioning or interpretation to fully participate in this event, please contact eng-ecs@osu.edu. Requests made two weeks before the event will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
