Information Sessions

Information sessions are scheduled throughout the semester by employers who want to meet potential hires, showcase their companies, and provide students with a chance to ask questions

Why students should attend an info session:

  • If you have a next day, on-campus interview with the company:  Attending the information session conveys that you are interested in learning more about the company …and they will expect you to be there
  • If you tried unsuccessfully to obtain an interview:  Your “on paper” persona might not have sold you, but perhaps you are better in person.  Don’t miss the chance to get in front of the employer and make connections that could lead to a future interview
  • You missed the deadline to apply to the company’s job:  Bring your resume with you and be prepared to ask how you can obtain an interview in the future
  • You are interested in learning more about a specific company or industry: Take advantage of these in-person opportunities to find out if a company is a good fit for you.
