Intern Week
Intern Week (January 17 – January 20, 2023) primarily targets first and second year students in their pursuit of an internship or co-op. It is strategically placed before the SWE fair (January 30 & 31, 2023) and is packed with events to help students feel confident and comfortable navigating the fair and the spring job search.
Employers who desire to recruit for co-op and internship positions and have a strong interest in promoting their brand to students seeking those roles have the opportunity to sponsor this week-long event and attend Intern Day, or sign a student representative up for the Intern Exchange. See details below for both sponsorship and non-sponsorship options.
2023 Intern Week Schedule of Events
Sponsor Intern Week
Why Sponsor?
Sponsorship for 2023 is full. Employers who provide sponsorship for Intern Week will have the opportunity to brand their company and engage with students PRIOR to the SWE fair: Your generous $1000 sponsorship grants your company the following benefits:
-
Name and logo on Intern Week marketing materials: Event website page, email outreach, workshop slides, program materials/handouts, and t-shirts will recognize company sponsors.
-
Intern Day Participation: Interact with Engineering students in-person on Thursday, January 19th. The events this day include 1:1 networking during "Coffee Chats with Companies" in the morning and 1:1 Mock Interviews or Resume Reviews in the afternoon.
-
Increased visibility at the virtual Intern Exchange event: Sponsors may sign up one student representative AND have that student share their experience and advice with the entire audience during a student panel prior to the small group portion of the event.
-
Inclusion in "Advice from our Sponsor Interns" video reel which will be promoted on ECS Instagram and Tik Tok pages.
The deadline to sign up as an Intern Week Sponsor is November 10th.

Non-Sponsor Option:
2023 Participation is full. Participation in the signature virtual event, Intern Exchange, does not require sponsorship but is available first come, first serve.
Intern Exchange
The signature event of Intern Week is the virtual Intern Exchange (formerly Intern Networking Night). Participating companies may sign up one current OSU engineering student who has previously worked (or is currently working) at your company as an intern or co-op. This student representative will promote your company by sharing their experience with other students during this casual networking event.
