Intern Week (January 16 – January 19, 2024) primarily targets first and second year students in their pursuit of an internship or co-op. It is strategically placed before the SWE fair (January 29 & 30, 2024) and is packed with events to help students feel confident and comfortable navigating the fair and the spring job search.
Employers who desire to recruit for co-op and internship positions and have a strong interest in promoting their brand to students seeking those roles have the opportunity to sponsor this week-long event and attend Intern Day, or sign a student representative up for the Intern Exchange. See details below for both sponsorship and non-sponsorship options.
Sponsor Intern Week
SPONSORSHIP IS FULL FOR 2024. Employers who provide sponsorship for Intern Week will have the opportunity to brand their company and engage with students PRIOR to the SWE fair: Your generous $1000 sponsorship grants your company the following benefits:
Name and logo on Intern Week marketing materials: Event website page, email outreach, workshop slides, program materials/handouts, and t-shirts will recognize company sponsors.
Intern Day Participation: Interact with Engineering students in-person on Thursday, January 18th. The events this day include 1:1 networking during "Coffee and Conversations with Companies" in the morning and 1:1 Mock Interviews in the afternoon.
Increased visibility at the Intern Exchange event: Sponsors may sign up two student representatives AND have one of those students share their experience and advice with the entire audience during a student panel prior to the networking poster session portion of the event.
Inclusion in "Advice from our Sponsor Interns" video reel which will be promoted on ECS Instagram and Tik Tok pages.
The deadline to sign up as an Intern Week Sponsor is November 10th.

Participation in the signature event, Intern Exchange, does not require sponsorship but is available first come, first serve.
The signature event of Intern Week is the Intern Exchange. Participating companies may sign up one current OSU engineering student who has previously worked (or is currently working) at your company as an intern or co-op. This student representative will promote your company by sharing their experience with other students during this casual networking event.
