Emergency Closures and Inclement Weather

Weather-related university closings will be available on WOSU 820 AM or on http://www.osu.edu.

In the event of severe weather, engineering career fairs and next-day interview events will go on, unless the University closes the Columbus campus. Refunds will not be issued for weather-related cancellations, no-shows, or closures.

If your on-campus interview schedule (excluding next-day interview events) or on-campus meeting with Engineering Career Services is cancelled due to the University closing the Columbus campus, the Employer Relations team will contact you about rescheduling options.

Emergency Information - Department of Public Safety

Information will be posted on the Department of Public Safety website during a campus emergency.

During the winter weather season, Ohio State’s Emergency Management team will monitor weather and share significant updates with the university community. In addition, the system also sends severe weather alerts for tornado warnings. Information will be posted on the Department of Public Safety page and via Twitter @OSU_EMFP(link is external).
