Recruiting Guidelines/Policies
Engineering Career Services at The Ohio State University is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), the professional association for college recruiters and career services professionals. As a member, we abide by the NACE Principles for Professional Practice, which serves as the ethical framework and foundation for practices within the career services and recruiting fields.
We have developed guidelines to promote a fair and equitable recruiting experience for our employers and our students. Employers seeking to recruit engineering students from The Ohio State University for co-ops, internships, and jobs are expected to follow Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) guidelines. By default, by requesting and receiving approval of a Handshake recruiting account, you are expected to be familiar with and adhere to the guidelines and policies. By agreeing to the Handshake Employer Guidelines at the time of your registration for a recruiting account, you are indicating that you have read and agree to the Terms of Service.
Violation of policies will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may result in the loss of access to the services provided by Engineering Career Services.
