Which program is for you?

ECIP

Program
ECIP (Engineering Co-op and Internship Program) is for undergraduate students enrolled in the Ohio State College of Engineering or Knowlton School of Architecture. Students interested in obtaining cooperative education (co-op) or internship experience during their undergraduate years should register as ECIP. Co-ops and internships help students gain field-related experience for better marketability at graduation. Students also enjoy a new perspective on classroom learning once they see how it is applied on the job. If you are a potential candidate for ECIP, begin the steps to registration to get your job search off to a great start!

Eligibility
Undergraduate students are encouraged to register by the autumn semester of the sophomore year. 

  • Enrollment in the College of Engineering or Knowlton School of Architecture as a full time student with a declared major or pre-major
  • Successful completion of 1.5 full-time semesters at Ohio State
    (1 semester for FEH students or transfer students)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Cumulative Ohio State GPA ≥ 2.5

GS

Program
GS (Graduate/Graduating Student) is for students who will receive a BS, MS, or PhD degree from the Ohio State College of Engineering or Knowlton School of Architecture. BS Students seeking post-graduate employment typically register as GS one calendar year prior to graduation to take advantage of peak interview season (Sept, Oct, Nov). Students seeking internships for the summer immediately prior to degree completion should register with GS, not ECIP. Registrants may continue to use services up to 12 months after graduation.

Eligibility

  • BS students within one calendar year of graduation, OR
    Alum who graduated within the last 12 months, OR
    Students actively pursuing an MS or PhD degree 
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Cumulative Ohio State GPA ≥ 2.0
