Connect with Recruiters at the SWE Fair
Welcome back, and Happy New Year! The new year brings you the opportunity to gain new experiences via co-ops, internships, and full-time job opportunities by attending the 2023 SWE Career Fair. The fair will be held VIRTUALLY on January 30th and IN-PERSON on January 31st from 1pm-5pm! The virtual SWE Career Fair will be held on the Handshake platform, and the in-person SWE Career Fair will be held at the Ohio Union with employers in two locations – the Performance Hall on the 1st floor and the Grand Ballroom on the 2nd floor. Be sure to check out BOTH locations, as there will be over 120 employers ready to discuss employment opportunities. More information is located on the SWE Career Fair website.
- You can now register for the VIRTUAL SWE Career Fair in Handshake. Register and sign-up for 1:1 sessions and group sessions. Review the Managing Virtual Fair Sessions article for step-by-step instructions. Don’t wait…sessions fill quickly, so sign up early to get the time that works best for you!
- Registration for the IN-PERSON SWE Career Fair is a two-step process: 1) Click Join Event in the upper right of the page Handshake page; 2) REQUIRED - Bring your BuckID to Student Registration in the Great Hall Meeting Room on the 1st floor beginning at 12:00pm on January 31st. You must swipe your BuckID AND make your name badge before entering the fair.

It includes a short video on developing your elevator pitch and resources on ways to make a career fair work for you. If you prefer a more interactive learning experience, consider attending the virtual Career Fair Prep Workshop + Q&A session on Thursday, January 26th at 7:30pm via Zoom.

Requests made two weeks before the event will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
