ECS will not be conducting in-person class presentations due to the current COVID-19 situation. We will continue to provide the same high-level quality offerings for your classes or groups, but in a new format. Please see the options below to determine which will work best for your needs. Please know that we will do everything we can to honor your request, but we might not be available during peak periods (such as those around career fairs). To ensure availablity, please submit your request at least one month in advance.
NOTE: If you are a student, seeking to secure a presentation for your student organization, please use the form located under the "Students" tab of this website
Option One: Curated Video Content + Live Virtual Q+A
ECS has a robust library of videos related to students' career services needs with the majority of these videos under 5 minutes in length. This option allows you to work with an ECS Advisor to curate a list of relevant ECS-created, job search videos. We ask that you have the students watch these before or during the class and after they have done so, an ECS advisor will conduct a virtual, 30-minute Q+A session (via Zoom) so that students may get their additional questions answered. This will allow for a foundation on which to build upon in the Q&A.
Option Two: Virtual Presentation
In the instance that there is not an existing video that will work for your group, ECS may be able to offer a customized virtual presentation (via Zoom). Please provide ECS with your preferred topic for the presentation. On the day of the presentation, our ECS Advisor will virtually attend your class and present on the chosen topic, with most presentations taking between 45 minutes to an hour. We ask that you act as a sort of moderator during the presentation, compiling any questions that may come through over the chat or in the classroom.
