You may have heard of our Wireless Innovation Project, the Vodafone Americas Foundation's annual competition designed to promote innovation and increase implementation of wireless-related technology for a better world. If you have a technology solution to improve the world, we're excited to learn more! We look for innovations in the field of education, health, access to communication, the environment or economic development.
There are only four weeks left to complete and submit your application for the 2018 competition. We will be awarding a total of up to $600,000 to three winners developing wireless-related technology with the potential to positively impact the global community. One of them could be you!
If you are looking for inspiration, we wanted to share the incredible story of one of our recent winners, WIPER. Just last year, we awarded a Wireless Innovation Project grant to the team behind WIPER, an innovative, wireless anti-poaching collar. Following the competition, the technology was featured in ZDNet.
