Career Week (Monday, September 20 through Friday, September 24, 2021) prepares rising juniors, graduating seniors, and graduate students with the professional skills necessary for a successful full-time search. It is strategically placed prior to Engineering Expo (the week of September 27), allowing participating companies to engage early with top engineering talent through a variety of events.
ECS is pleased to offer sponsorship opportunities to our ECS Partner Program participants. Sponsors have the opportunity to brand their company and engage with students PRIOR to the Expo. As availability allows, this event is open for a la carte sponsorship. Your generous $1000 sponsorship grants your company the following benefits:
Name and logo on Career Week marketing materials: Examples of this include dorm room hangtags, event website page, workshop slides, program materials/handouts, and email campaigns recognizing company sponsors.
Featured Employer Schedule: Choose one day during Career Week to showcase your opportunities and interact with students. Opportunities to engage may include a combination of the following: resume review sessions, mock interviews, LinkedIn profile reviews, and workshop/Q&A participation.
Increased visibility at Industry Night: Sponsors are spotlighted during the employer panel portion of Industry Night. One panelist from each sponsoring company will be represented.
Non Sponsor Option
Participation in the signature event, Industry Night, does not require sponsorship but is available first come, first serve.
The signature event of Career Week is the Industry Night. Typically Industry Night is an in-person, mini-career fair style, evening event that focuses on networking between graduating students and employers. The format for 2021 is forthcoming, so watch for details on this page regarding updates.
Snapshot of Student Events
A customizable menu of events will be offered throughout the week. Please note that the 2021 program will be a combination of in-person and virtual events.
Employer of the Day: Sponsoring companies will be promoted as Employer of the Day where they will showcase employment offerings and share insights with increased marketing and promotion.
Industry Night: Panel and scaled down, virtual career fair style event that allows employers to connect with students and promote their company in a smaller setting than a traditional career fair. Limited spots are available for non-sponsors to participate.
Workshops: Career-seeking students will enhance their knowledge of resume building, interview strategies, LinkedIn, salary, leadership and networking during interactive programs.
Labs: Students will have personalized, assistance from participating employers and ECS staff when updating their LinkedIn profiles and resumes.
Professional Preparation: Mock interview opportunities help students freshen up their professional presence.
If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in any of the Career Week events, please contact ECS at firstname.lastname@example.org. Requests made two weeks before the event will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
