These days almost your entire job search is conducted online. Many engineering students wish they had more contact with employers and a chance to make an impression…in-person. The 2013 OSU Engineering Job Shadow Program allows you to do just that. Job Shadow allows you the opportunity to visit an Ohio company’s site to network with company representatives, observe engineers, and learn more about jobs in your major.

Information sessions are one avenue for companies to get the word out at OSU about who they are and what they are all about. Companies of all sizes hold these events for students, but they can be especially important for companies who may not be household names. It is always a good idea for you to take advantage of this valuable time with a company, especially if you’re interested in potential job opportunities.
