SWE Career Fair Admissions--Important Changes This Year!

You may have heard that no career fair programs are being printed and sold this year.  Is this true?  It is!  Paper programs will no longer be printed and sold for any engineering career fairs!  The complete program information is available via the OSU Career Fair Plus app and the app is free.  Search for the OSU Career Fair Plus app on the App Store or Google Play Store.

Prefer a paper version of the program?  We understand that some students might still like having a hard copy of the program, so we are making the full version available for you to print.  Please check the or websites after January 25th.

In the past, the paper program has served as your admission ticket.  Going forward, your BuckID and a printed name badge will serve as your admission ticket.  You will NOT be admitted to the career fair without a name badge.  Name badges are free!

Name badges will be printed at ECS on the following dates.  You MUST bring your BuckID, as you will need it to swipe in to get your name badge:

  • Thursday, January 28th from 9:00am - 3:00pm
  • Friday, January 29th from 9:00am - 3:00pm
  • Monday, February 1st from 9:00am - 3:00pm
  • Tuesday, February 2nd from 9:00am - 3:00pm

Name badges will also be printed at the career fair, but we encourage you to get your name badge before the career fair in order to save your time on the day of the career fair for job searching and networking with employers.

Also new this year, there will no longer be early admission at the career fairs.  The 2016 SWE Career Fair will run from 11:00am to 4:00pm on Wednesday, February 3, 2016.

To summarize the changes:

  • Paper programs will no longer be printed and sold.
  • Your BuckID and name badge are REQUIRED and will serve as your admission ticket.
  • Career fair begins at 11:00am - no early admission.
