International Students' Job Search Success Stories

Are you an international student looking to secure an internship or full - time employment in the US? International students face certain challenges and restrictions throughout the job hunt. Maximize your chances of securing industry experience by taking advantage of networking opportunities that allow you to gain helpful advice and suggestions. 

Hear from a panel of international, engineering students who successfully found internships and career employment in the US at companies such as IBM, Goldman Sachs, and Cummins Inc. Join us on Monday, November 4th at 7:30PM in 014 University Hall to learn about panelists’ experiences and tips for finding a position!

Various topics will be discussed that are aimed towards improving your job search success:

  • Understanding the basics of successfully applying and interviewing for positions in the US
  • Developing applicable skills that employers seek
  • Building a network of contacts
  • Utilizing effective job search resources

The event will conclude with an opportunity to ask questions and a time to mingle and network afterwards (with refreshments provided).
