Get a head start on becoming a Professional Engineer!

If you are graduating this coming spring or summer quarter, you can apply now to take the spring 2011 Fundamentals of Engineering exam (FE). If your career goals include becoming a Professional Engineer (P.E.), applying for the FE is the first step towards realizing that objective! Although you can wait to take the FE until after you graduate, many engineers find the knowledge freshest in their mind while they are still in school...thus making the test less daunting.

To apply you must obtain a letter from the Dean...Wednesday, January 9, 2011 is the date by which you need to request this document from the College of Engineering Student Services' office. The application deadline is Friday, January, 11, 2011. You can find the official application materials and more information on the State of Ohio's website. The actual exam is on Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 8am to 5pm - but you must pre-register to take it.
